How immigration laws sanction domestic violence in South Asian American homes

Wow, reading this article made me feel so sad. I really hate it when people take advantage of someone vulnerable..particularly women. I read the statistic somwhere that 1 in 4 South Asian women in this country have been subject to abuse. Not cool! I think a criminal check is very important!!! Also a financial check! Shows a pattern of life events.
